More females than males

By the end of 2023, the population of Aruba counted 50,559 males and 57,007 females, which signifies a surplus of females of 12.8%. However, in the younger age categories up until the age of 29 years, there are more males than females (4.2% more), except between the ages of 10 and 14 years where there is a slight surplus of females. From the age of 30 onwards, there are more females than males. The differences in the number of males and females are most pronounced in the highest age categories, especially after the age of 86 years, where there are 2 females for every male. The mean age of males is 41.0 years, while the mean age of females is 43.8 years (the mean age of the population is 42.5 years
