1st definition: Final consumption expenditure consists of the expenditure, including imputed expenditure, incurred by resident households, resident non-profit institutions serving households and general government on consumption goods and services.

2nd definition: 1. Private Households – All expenditures on consumer goods and services, including expenditure on durables such as motor vehicles and furniture, payments made by the government on behalf of households, and the imputed rent of owner-occupied dwellings. Households consist of Aruban residents, and consumption expenditure relates to their expenditures both within Aruba and overseas. 2. General Government Services and Private Non-profit Services to Households – Total current expenditure by these producers less the value of any sales or own account capital formation (that is, the total net current costs incurred in providing the services).
