Persons with disabilities often belong to the most vulnerable groups in society. Compared to the general population, they are at greater risk of experiencing limitations in performing activities of daily living and/or experiencing restrictions of participation in society. To be able to ensure full and equal participation of persons with disabilities on
all levels of daily functioning, relevant, reliable, and timely data is needed. Therefore, following the most recent recommendations of the United Nations, the Short Set of Questions on Disability was included in the 2010 Census
questionnaire. The data collected by means of these questions will be discussed in this paper.
